Our Wood Craft
All wood craft projects are made right here in the USA in the great State of Michigan. We use locally sourced wood milled on site. From cutting boards and shelving to custom furniture find your next treasure right here. We perform deep pour epoxy resin projects upon request.

We source local wood from our properties, friends properties, or recover storm damaged wood for our projects. If we take a live tree we plant 10 more in its place in an effort to conserve natural resources for future generations.
Wood is cut, milled to size, air or kiln dried then processed into your project. We work around major defects in the wood however some items remain to add personality to the project. Worm holes, striations, knots, cracks, dark shades, or mill errors do exist at times, embrace them as they add a story to your project.
Cutting boards are finished with food safe mineral oil or a combination of food safe mineral oil and beeswax. The hand finishing process provides a butter smooth finish. Starting with 120 grit sandpaper we follow with a water spritz to raise the grain, then 240, 320, 400, and finish with a 600 grit hand sand before cleaning and final finish application.
We are able to locally source most wood for our projects, Mahogany is the exception, we must purchase this for our products. Our product line mostly includes Michigan Cherry, Red oak, White Oak, Poplar, Maple, Aspen, Pine, Hickory, and Cedar.
